Lars Stigler – Samarium Cobalt Compound Impulse Release Magnet And Linear Resistance Inputs

The long album title fits perfectly to its elegic tracks composed
by Lars Stigler from december 2002 to october 2003.
One could hear some similarities to other KJ projects such as
Contour and Mimi Secue in which he had been involved at that
time.
In almost pure guitar based ambient intrumentals Lars Stigler
creates cinemascopic landscapes of dark and misty twilight
wherein glipses of gleamy lights appear to warm up the
environment.
Starting very silent and minimal the album leads you through
repetitive patterns into a wide panorama of enormous density.
On and off the tracks collapse again to find themselves in quiet
moments of apathy. Lars Stigler present work seems to be like
the soundtrack for cold winternights as well as for “early mornings
of tarnished beauty”.
