This exquisite collection of electronic pieces marks another outstanding release from the Karate Joe label. »Glim« is the he solo project of Andreas Berger the savvy multi instrumentalist place in the Vienna label Karate Joe lexicon cannot be underestimated, Andy is a member of the flagships groups – Le Charmant Rouge, Mimi Secue and the »Songs of Suspects« – who have all injected a new soul into the Vienna scene from 3 very different angles. This is the perfect soundtrack to an anesthetic drift. Evoking that moment when ones mind is either moving so very fast or so very slow that it becomes hard to tell. The ten tracks result in 50 min of elaborately detailed sonic bliss you could get lost in – a rare emotional guts and nostalgic sentiment that is utterly compelling.
